The 2025/26 winter season will be one of the most memorable in Cortina d’Ampezzo’s history. With the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics and Paralympics scheduled from 6 to 22 February and 6 to 15 March, the Queen of the Dolomites will not only host world-class sporting events, but also offer the opportunity to ski on most of its slopes throughout the season.

Here are the opening details for the entire 2025/2026 winter season:

  • The facilities and slopes will remain fully operational until 12 January 2026.
  • From 12 January, work will begin on preparing the Olympic slopes, with gradual closures limited to the Tofana area (Olympia and Labyrinths slopes).
  • During the Olympic and Paralympic periods, the following will remain open at all times:
    – Olympia Chairlift (Pocol)
    – Skyline cable car
    – 5 Torri Ski Area
    – Col Gallina Ski Area
    – Lagazuoi Ski Area
    – Faloria/Cristallo ski area
    – San Vito di Cadore Ski Area
    – Auronzo/Misurina ski area
To ensure smooth travel during the Games, a car pass system will be introduced, and the ski bus and public transport services will be enhanced.
From 16 March: everything will be operational again.
Once the events are over and the dismantling is complete, the Olympia slope and the Tofana areas will quickly become available again, extending the ski season into spring.

To ensure easy travel during the Games, a car pass system will be activated and the ski bus and public transport service will be enhanced.

From 16 March: everything is operational again.
