Whether it’s morning, afternoon or evening, there’s always something boiling in the kitchen of the Averau Mountain Hut with Matteo and kitchen brigade at the stove.
The delicate “Cappelli d’Alpino“, the “Cialsons,” and the aromatic pheasant and broccoli timbale are some of the delicious dishes handed down at the Averau Mountain Hut.
The authenticity of typical dishes cooked with care and attention could not but always find the perfect match with the wine list selected by siblings Matteo and Margot, sommelier and would-be sommelier.

The cellar at 2413m
A wine list that reflects all the shared passion of the family, but that is is realized in Matteo and Margot’s choices.
In the high-altitude cellar of the Averau Mountain Hut there are 170 fine labels,Italian and European, selected with care and attention to satisfy the most enthusiastic and shameless wine lovers.
Two special selections could not be missing from Rifugio Averau wine list: the first named after the great master Giacomo Tachis and the second dedicated to Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT.
