The week of love
As per tradition, during the Week of Love, from Saturday 12 February to Sunday 18 February, the Averau Refuge celebrates Valentine’s Day by focusing everything on taste and the incredible view of Civetta and Marmolada.
- Valentine’s Day appetizer: marinated deer carpaccio (raw paper-thin slices), croûtons with white bacon, savory ricotta cheese strudel, Italian sausage and artichokes
- ‘Ravioli dell’Amore’: pasta dough with coffee and almonds, filled with Taleggio cheese and dressed with orange sauce
- Deer in Port wine: venison fillets sautéed with apples and pine nuts, flambéed with Ruby Port wine and served with polenta
- Red Velvet cake: red with cheese cream and strawberries
The dishes will find the perfect match with the wine list selected by Matteo, passionate chef and sommelier of the house.
The warm and bright atmosphere of the refuge combined with the welcoming sunshine of Sandro and Margot will complete a special day to share with your loved one in the heart of the Dolomites.
