Averau Trenches Trail
Details
From the Averau Mountain Hut, follow the 440 markings northwards until the Sentiero delle Trincee (marked, but not labelled) branches off to the left.
Follow the trail under the majestic Averau group in a westerly direction until it joins trail 441, which leads to the left (south) and takes you easily to Forcella Averau (from below the area seems inaccessible).
From here, it is almost flat to the Averau Mountain Hut, which offers a well-deserved rest.
