Lavaredo Ultra Trail
The nineteenth edition of the Lavaredo Ultra Trail, one of the most anticipated trail running competitions in Europe, will cross the area between Cortina, 5 Torri and Croda da Lago. They will come from all over the world for this incredible race that in 120 km will embrace the most spectacular places in the Dolomites.
On the evening of Friday 26 June starting at 11.00 pm, Corso Italia will light up thanks to the hundreds of headlamps that will guide the athletes in their first kilometers of night running. A long journey on foot which will involve important athletes who cross the finish line in 12 hours, and fans who will have 30 hours of time to get back to Cortina.
The event offers 5 race distances; for those who want to cheer on the athletes in the race, here are the points where they pass through the Averau refuge with respect to the different routes:
- 50km (the Averau refuge is at km 28.6) Friday 26
- 80km (the Averau refuge is at km 60.3) Saturday 27
- 120km (the Averau refuge is at km 101.9) Saturday 27
