{"id":5854,"date":"2023-01-02T18:59:18","date_gmt":"2023-01-02T17:59:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.rifugioaverau.it\/eventi\/two-days-with-astronomitaly\/"},"modified":"2026-04-15T16:41:19","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T14:41:19","slug":"two-days-with-astronomitaly","status":"publish","type":"mec-events","link":"https:\/\/www.rifugioaverau.it\/en\/eventi\/two-days-with-astronomitaly\/","title":{"rendered":"Two days with Astronomitaly"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At an altitude of 2,416 meters at the Averau refuge you can observe the sky and its stars in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.astrotourism.com\/place\/accomodations\/europe\/rifugio-averau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Astronomitaly<\/a> company, which has recognized the Averau panoramic terrace with the GOLD certification of &#8220;The most beautiful skies in Italy&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Two professionals equipped with telescopes will be available to those who want to scan the sky to discover the beauty of our satellite: the <strong>Moon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A major astronomical event with observation of stars and planets, in particular deep-sky objects, such as the stars Vega, Deneb in Altair, double stars such as Mizar and Albireo, the Hercules cluster and other objects that will be evaluated on site.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Transport is done from 6:30 pm (based on the booking agreement) from Cianzop\u00e8. About 1.5 km before the 5 Torri chairlift, going up from Cortina along the road 48 of the Dolomites that leads to the Falzarego pass.<\/li>\n<li>The cost of transport is \u20ac 30.00 per person round trip.<\/li>\n<li>Dinner is \u00e0 la carte and the cover charge will be \u20ac 15.00 and includes, explanation and observation through the telescope.<\/li>\n<li>Stargazing starts at 8:30 pm<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition <strong>, on Saturday 25 July<\/strong> it will be possible to observe the <strong>sun<\/strong> with 2 professionals equipped with a solar telescope and with a second telescope with a special Astrosolar certified filter. It will be possible to observe the sunspot cycle, sunspots, phacolae, prominences and photospheric granulation. Observations will be possible from 12:00 to 16:00 weather permitting.
